Service & Repair
Repair or replace — how do I know which I need?

We start with a diagnostic. What feels like a failing system is often one bad part — a pump, coil, or thermostat — fixable for a fraction of replacement cost. We give you an honest read, not a sales pitch.

What's included in a service visit?

Full diagnostics, coil and component cleaning, strainer and pump inspection, electrical testing, refrigerant check, airflow assessment, and a written report — with clear cost and risk on anything that needs attention.

How often should I service my marine A/C?

At least once a season for recreational use; twice a year for charter or liveaboard vessels run continuously. Staying ahead of it costs less than an emergency repair in peak season.

Do you offer emergency service?

Yes, call us and we'll get a technician out as fast as we can. A dead A/C in July doesn't wait until Tuesday.

about Marine A/c Systems
How is a marine A/C system different from regular HVAC?

Marine systems use seawater instead of air for heat exchange — far more efficient on the water — but that means seawater pumps, corrosion-resistant components, and marine-rated wiring. Standard residential HVAC won't survive salt air, vibration, and constant moisture.

What types of marine A/C systems are there?

Self-contained units (all components in one package, ideal for smaller vessels or single cabins) and chilled water systems (a central chiller serving multiple zones, better for larger yachts). We'll help determine the right fit for your vessel.

How long does a marine A/C system last?

10–15 years with proper maintenance. Unserviced systems, or those running with clogged strainers and pumps, fail far sooner — maintenance is the single biggest factor in lifespan.

Installation
How long does installation take?

One to two days for a single-zone system; several days for larger multi-zone chilled water systems, depending on complexity and access. You'll get a firm timeline before we start.

Do I need to be on board during installation?

No — we just need access to the vessel. We'll walk you through the finished system and answer questions before we leave.

Can you add A/C to a boat that's never had it?

Yes — retrofits are one of our most common jobs. It takes careful planning around seawater intake, electrical capacity, and layout, but it's very doable.

Coverage & Pricing
What areas do you serve?

All of South Florida, with a focus on Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Boca Raton, Palm Beach, and the Keys. Not sure if we cover your marina? Just call.

How does pricing work?

Service is quoted by vessel type, complexity, and scope. Installations and larger repairs get a written estimate before work starts — no surprises. Simple service calls can often get a ballpark over the phone.

Can I get a quote before committing?

Yes — request one through our Services or Contact page, or call directly. We'll send an estimate before any work begins.
